FAQs
General
Q: If I choose to go ahead with you, do I have to sign a contract?
A: Yes. This establishes clear expectations for both you and myself upon booking. It outlines the agreed-upon services, pricing, and any important terms, fostering transparency and preventing any potential misunderstandings. This will set expectations for a smooth and stress-free morning prior to the long day ahead!
Q: Is there a deposit required to secure my wedding day?
A: Yes. There is a non-refundable deposit of $150.00 that is required in order to secure your wedding date and prior to any trials. This ensures that not only for myself but you are locked in and prevents anyone else from booking your spot!
Q: Will you have hair accessories available?
A: I unfortunately do not provide additional hair pieces/flowers/veils/etc. During your trial we can discuss if you would like to use add-ons and I can recommend a few websites where you can find affordable pieces.
Q: Do you provide hair extensions?
A: Unfortunately I do not. However, if you bring your own, I am able to put on clip-in and tape-on extensions for any styling service! If you need help navigating where to get extensions, I can try my best to help search for the best fit!
Trial Prep
Q: How many months in advance should I book my trial?
A: A trial is highly recommended at least 4 months in advance when booking with me. This ensures you are happy with my styling skills and also to secure your spot for your big day!
Q: How many guests can you accommodate in my bridal party?
A: I personally can take up to 7 guests! If there are more, I have an expert assistant who will come with me to beautify you lovely ladies!
Q: How much does a bridal trial cost and can other guests do one as well?
A: My starting price is $120+ tax for a bridal trial. Unfortunately I do not provide trials for guests who are part of the wedding.
Q: Where can I do my trial?
A: Trials are done at my workplace- Taz Hair Co, Etobicoke, ON.
Q: How should I have my hair prepped prior to my trial?
A: Please come with your hair washed and styled (with no product) at least 12-24 hours in advance. This helps with efficient timing and detailed perfection for your desired style!
Q: How long will my stylist take to do my hair trial?
A: Timing of hair prep depends on how you show up with the state of your hair. If a smoothed-out blow-dry is required prior to any heat styling, it takes additional time to complete the finished look. Therefore, it can range anywhere from 1-1 1/2 hours and also costs an additional $65+ tax.
Wedding Day Prep
Q: When will you arrive for the morning of?
A: Approximately 15 minutes before my first guest! This gives me time to set-up my tools and products so we can get started on time according to schedule.
Q: Should the bride go last?
A: Not necessarily! It is actually recommended that the bride should go somewhere in between others, therefore she is ready before the photographer/videographer shows up. I have my whole-hearted attention focused on YOU for the scheduled time frame and I will make sure everyone’s hair stays in place for the night regardless of what time slot the bride chooses.
Q: Can last minute guests get their hair done?
A: If there is available time after all guests who have had their hair styled and completed, yes I can try to accommodate.
Q: Can you stay to put on my veil after all hair and make-up services are completed?
A: Absolutely. I am more than happy to help with any last minute touch-ups and veil application! It is essential for me to double-check with the final results of every guests look and to make sure everyone is happy!
Q: Do you provide touch-up and or change of style services through-out the course of the day and into the evening?
A:Yes! If you are in need of any touch-up/change services I can quote a fee depending on how long/where you will require me to be!
